Pterostylis curta
« on: March 11, 2010, 06:37:14 PM »
This is my first year with this species.
The buds started way back in October and this is as far as it's managed since then.
I know I said these could be like watching paint dry but I didn't mean on the Forth Bridge.  ;)
Naturally I'll post again when the flower finally opens.
I did give it the shelter of a greenhouse with a minimun of -3C.

We saw a nice pot of Pterostylis last week at the Loughborough Show but I didn't notice which one it was.  I will keep my eyes open tomorrow at Blackpool in case it's there again.
