AGS show choices for 20th March 2010
« on: March 12, 2010, 08:12:51 PM »
Two AGS shows on the 20th March - so English members will be heading for one of these, I expect .....though those North of the Border will be expected at Dunblane for the Sitrling Group show that day!

The AGS choices are the Whitworth Show, 12:00 - 16:00 at The Riverside Whitworth, Rossendale on Saturday 20th March 2010 from 12 noon to 4pm.
There will be Nurserymen from across the U.K. & the event will also feature a tombola; a raffle; seed, plant and book sales; excellent refreshments; free parking and the warm welcome from Cliff Booker, local Chairman.

Further South you can choose to visit the AGS Kent Show, with plant sale and artisitic competition.
This will also  take place on Saturday 20th March 2010 at the Rainham Girls' School, Derwent Way, Rainham, Kent. There will be a large number of tradestands there ,too, including  Forumists Ger van Den Beuken and Bob Potterton and the Kentish welcome will be supplied by David "Saxifraga" Hoare, the local Show Secretary.  Hot refreshments all day.
Plant sales open 10am Show open at 12noon.

Wherever you travel, have fun!

Here at East Lancs we are expecting all the usual subjects and Pudsey Piglets.  The potato pie, red cabbage and mushy peas have been ordered.  Oh and please bring your plants as well, almost forgot about those.

Now the Yorkies would have meat and potato pie but the Lancies have always been stingy ;D
