AGS London Show 7 April 2010
« on: April 08, 2010, 12:55:37 PM »
Friend and I went to the London Show yesterday - it's not just the AGS there but also tables of camellias, bonsai, daffodils, cut ornamentals etc.  Wonderful artistic section with some really interesting photographs and Jean Morris' brilliant needlework.

Fairly random selection of images follows.

We went to the Chelsea Physic Garden afterwards (only 2 stops along on underground line).  Well worth a visit, they have "the oldest man-made rock garden in Europe" (and excellent tea and cake!) Lots of peonies budding.  Sadly my camera ran out of juice here ....

ESPECIALLY the needlework is outstanding. Can hardly believe some were not photos. What a wonderfully clever and gifted woman Jean Morris is. 8)
