Podophyllum leaves

Here are some different P. leaves, I think from Chinese plants.
Hans Hoeller passed away, after a long illness, on 5th November 2010. His posts remain as a memory of him.

Truly beautiful plants, especially those reddish ones.
If only we were allowed some of those species in our country.

Very easy to see the appeal of these  patterned velvety leaves, isn't it?

Yes, they're some of my favourites and very tolerant of our mild coastal Devon climate too.

Graham, for a moment I though I had gone to the wrong forum, some oceanographic forum showing photos of starfish, then realized it's a podophyllum. ;D  Remarkable leaves on both.
