Beautiful Franz. It is always good to receive a lesson from "The Master" on what can be achieved.

What a treat!  How many years did it take to make it so beautiful?

I think in the past Franz has said his garden is more than 30 years old but all rock gardeners know that even to keep things healthy and looking good for more than a couple of years, there is constant work and renewal to be done. This wonderful garden is a life's work and the ongoing effort is shown clearly in the stunning results. Thanks for sharing this part of your garden Franz. It complements the meadow so well.

Franz, it's hard to choose between the most beautiful rock garden or meadow - both are supreme delights and full of wonderful treasures  :)

Saponaria oxymoides looks full of life.... well, the whole garden looks great, Franz !  8)

But you know, I tend to overlook Saponarias and they are such good plants.... and Silenes, too.... I should get some seed and grow more.
