BD and Bulb Despot are Ian's alter egos because his word is absolutely final on all matters concerning small bulbs and because he is absolutely RIGID about Maggi not being permitted to plant even the tiniest rhododendron if the area is suitable for a couple of scrawny erythroniums.
I want a pair of shoes like that... blazing hot, just imagine the speed and mileage I could rack up with a pair like that! I'm working on a suitable title to emblazon on such stylish footware, perhaps OG (Onion God ).
They are Nike shoes and you can customise various styles to your own colours, plus writing, from the main Nike sites and order them from their shops too, I expect. What got my attention was that the customising could be done at no extra expense..... always a good selling point for this Scotswoman!
