I collected seeds of this plant in Uzbekistan in 2005, and it has a minty smell. Do you think it could be a Menta sp ?

A quick Google mentions ziziphora clinopodioides as "Blue Mint," attractive to bees and butterflies, I had Z. bungeana at one time but it died before it flowered. This looks like it though.

Ziziphora bungeana looks just like the illustration in Flora of China, and it occurs in Uzbekistan as well. Gee ! You learn so much at this place !
