Pam Eveleigh will be in Edinburgh in September and will be giving a talk to the Edinburgh Group on Tuesday 14 September, 7.30 pm in the Conference Room at the Royal Botanic Garden Edinburgh (Entrance via Inverleith Row).

Pam Eveleigh is a founding member of the Calgary Rock and Alpine Garden Society (CRAGS). In addition to being an avid hiker, intrepid traveller, and Primula specialist, she is an accomplished macro and floral photographer. Lucky  Folks who can attend that meeting!  Pam is the force behind PRIMULA WORLD and has acheived a temendous amount of work with that website which provides a super resource to us all.
She also happens to be a thoroughly charming person  which I always feel, married with her skills and knowledge, is a real bonus in a Speaker!

I had the absolute pleasure of visiting Pam's garden and having a private showing of some of her slides when I was in Calgary in 2005. She is a delightful person, expert plantswoman and fabulous photographer.
I would urge all who can to make the trip to Edinburgh. I envy you.

It was a superb talk - beautiful photographs, clear and informative delivery.  I think we all felt like booking our next holiday in Calgary so that we could go and see the wonderful scenery and plants for ourselves.  Thank you, Pam.  I can't wait till April 2012 when you come back to visit our Groups as the Travelling Speaker.
