This seems to be another forum page where no dropoholics are involved, except Mark then 8)
What about Galatea or Dionysos and not to forget Acis

I’m afraid that Polyphemus is stronger than the Galanthophiles and doesn’t let them free  ;D ;D ;D   :-X

You are correct of course. They were Trojans (Troy was located in what is now Turkey), probably descendants from some native people deeper in Anatolia. They had a lot of contact and traded a lot with the Greeks.
