Mark,

I use Safari.   I saw no names for the Narcissus, so I checked your
Nerine sarniensis gallery.  When I hover, names appear in the bottom
gray frame of the window - not just names, but the whole url.  Usually
names appear in a floating white rectangle, and I haven't noticed names
in a window frame before, so I went back to the Narcissus to see if there
are urls in the bottom frame, but there aren't.

The hover must only work with explorer. Being a web design beginner I dont know how to remedy this. On Sunday I'll add names beside all the main images

Could well be right Mark as it works for me on Internet Explorer but doesn't on Google Chrome.

Mark - I use Firefox at work and even when I "allow the page temorarily" no name or box appears.  If I right click and try to save the photo the name appears in the "save as" box only.

Will try Safari at home tonight.

johnw - down to -5c last night and still -2/3.  Snowless. Chinese Fan Palm looking a tad droopy.

The things I do to keep people happy. The thumbnails remain the same but each large image has a name under it. Press F5 to see the changes

I found I missed adding 15 images  ::) so it will change again tomorrow

Yes!  so much easier than hovering.

But I'm puzzled by the suggestion to press F5.  On my Mac, that will increase the
sound.  Have you added music?  ???

I see now why you think it fades. I had labelled Emperor's Waltz and Elements. I've just added a new photo for Emcys on line 5. It fades to white
