Out of the mouths of babes...........  My 3 year old grandson thinks his new baby sister is the baby Jesus! Well, she does spend most of the day asleep in a crib.

They should have gone to Ikea (or any other store of repute).

Then they wouldn't have been able to sing him to sleep with "A wean in a manger".

It's a good job that they didn't have to rely on this forum for the Three Wise Men!   ;D

I have been absorbed in the AGS seedlist today. I discovered the brilliant online list with instant google links and have already spent 3 hours on it and I'm only up to the Ds. All these plants I didn't know even existed  :o

The AGS paper list has arrived here. I think the notes provided by Diane are quite superb: the extra work that is caused by name changes just piles on the effort required to get the list organised and I hope we all appreciate the work that goes in from that perspective, not to mention all the other aspects of collecting and sending the seed, collating the seed, packing etc....an enormous amount of work for the members.

Anyone able to get to Pershore to help with the AGS Seed  packing, as with volunteers for the SRGC packing, will be rewarded with tea and cake.... if that's not an incentive to help I don't know what is!
Seriously, I know the AGS website is still asking for more volunteers so if anyone is able to help out with the picking and packing of seed orders at Pershore  please do make contact with Diane for the AGS  at diane.clement@agsgroups.org or telephone AGS Centre 01386 554790

I suspect that the Edinburgh Group would be delighted to hear from anyone near Edinburgh who can help out too  for the SRGC seed exchange... please contact Ian Bainbridge at bainbridi@aol.com if you may be able to spare some time at weekends in January and early February.

Many hands make no cake left.... or some such saying......  ;)
