Yesterday morning I went to the Howick orchid show and purchased a few goodies. Here are two that are in flower. NZ$35 each is a bargain in my book! The first puzzles me as the label has "Pot. Perfect Choice Purple Lady BMJOCA Pot. Tokyo Bay x Lc Lake Casitas" as well as "M315 24/7/8" on it. The second is Cymbidium insigne x insigne. I also bought another Pot. Is this X Potinara, which my book says is a quadrigeneric hybrid genus derived from crosses between Brassavola, Cattleya, Laelia and Sophronitis?
And in a beautifully clean and green Potinara too.
my first attempt to chipping galanthus got me 11 bulbils(from 12 slices, not bad I think).I`m so proud!hope they develop any further.
And you must have a fantastic vacuumara as well Anthony. That carpet is spotless; we thought of planting salsify in the hall here last spring.johnw
Could one of you lovers of the green and white flowers define chipping for me.thanks bye Ray
