That's wonderful news Paddy, I hope everything goes well and for your coming event too Martin. As all grandparents know, being one can be very expensive but all good fun in the long run.

My older daughter's first is due by the 10th of Feb.

You don't look old enough to be a granddad Martin, which is not to imply that Paddy does ;D

Congrats Paddy!!

Martin,

So how many grandkids will this be then?  The way you phrased it I think means that there have already been other grandkids?
Cheers.

Martin,

Well congratulations to you too as well.  I just thought the way it was written that this might have been the first for your eldest, but not the first of the lot (if you know what I mean).

May the birth be without complication and the result divine!!  8)
Cheers.

Thanks, Paul and others for the good wishes. Everything seems fine so far, fingers crossed, apart from a low blood pressure issue but that shouldn't be a major problem.
