I just want to tickle that tummy in picture two. 8) They become so much a part of the family that parting with them is heart breaking.

Sorry to read of all the lost pets.
Having lived here for 30+ years we have many roses and trees where dogs and cats are now blooming again.
The very hardest was the Corgi who used to chase the car - and yes I ran her over. It was such a s..t and then to have to say Yes put her down. Then to bury her as that was the last that I could do for her. Dogs and car never mix.

Now, just to state the claim! ;D I'm not sure Lancashire can lay claim to meat and potato pies (meyt and taty pah to give it it's proper name) the proper side of the Pennines has a far stronger claim in my view ;)

I'm afraid so Paul, but he was in no doubt he was loved dearly.
And he no doubt showed it as only a dog can. Irrepressible and irreplaceable.

David, I just meant Lancashire meat and potato pies as in "meat and potato pies from Lancashire". Not trying to start a war over their origins.  ;D
