Cliff, thanks for the link.
I love the song, the band and his voice.

Had not heard of him before.

Enjoyed a super sell-out concert at the Bridgewater last evening ... the magnificent Ray Lamontagne supported by the equally brilliant Secret Sisters.
The fourth time I have seen Ray and he (along with his incredible band; The Pariah Dogs) must be one of the best live acts performing today. Highly recommended.

I need to take a look on U Tube Cliff, I meant to do that when you mentioned him before and forgot.

Take a look at The Decemberists ;D

Yes, I like ;D  and I've ordered a CD too.

Cliff, Helen and Darren take a listen to Gillian Welch/David Rawlings (often as a duo but both play separately too

That's great, David ... which of his discs have you ordered?  'Gossip in the Grain' is probably the only one that takes a while to sink in ... any of the others and you will be hooked.

I have always liked David Rawlings but will now investigate Gillian Welch.

Have you discovered Richard Hawley yet?

We have a saying here: "..as surefooted as a mountain goat..."
Now I understand it!
(I am not referring to myself, I had stood at the foot of the dam!)
