::) ::) According to today's newspaper the Danes are the happiest people in the world,  followed closely by Canadians.  Obviously this poll was not done during the winter of 2010/2011. ???

Another interesting tidbit on the radio last night, David Cameron has appointed 100+ new lords since taking office, bringing the total to +/-831. Any forumists amongst this distinguished lot?

Erika  - Here's the only data I can find.  Apparently they failed to  mention Canada was tied with Sweden for second place.

I know some of you don't believe in God, but I do, and I will tell you why. For years I have been praying that the hedges between myself and both neighbours would die and it has finally happened, killed by the frost. Escallonia on one side and Grisellinia on the other, neither any good for wildlife.
I don't own either of them and have no hedges to cut this year. I am very happy. ;D ;D ;D ;D

Wether or not we believe in god it's nice when something you wish for comes true. I will pray that all my plants that I love and think are dead will hopefully start to grow. :D

I wish my neighbours Leylandii hedge would die.  It cost £120 to have it trimmed - and before you say why don't you do it yourself I do not have a ldder tall enough and have no head for heights.  Tried to persuade the tree surgeon to cut it hard back so that it would die, but he was too professional to do that.
