And here's the Bluegrass tune, Grey Eagle, as it should be heard.

I suppose sooner or later we'll have to go back to talking about plants.........well maybe 8)

With the inimitable Danny Thompson on bass,  ( I think that's "Victoria") and Russ Barenburg, Donal Lunny... ......... magic!

Just the sort of music to keep you happy as you watch your plants grow!

The photograph tells it all. Our grand-daughter, Olivia, when I told her the snowdrops were popping up in the garden.

Aha, how easily fooled you men are!
There's training going on alright, but it is litttle Olivia who is in charge.... already she has Grandad convinced he is leading her.... just look at that gorgeous wee face.... that is the face of a crocus loving erythronium fan, if ever I saw one.... she's humouring you Paddy... look at the wee tongue peeking out.... she has you right where she wants you!  8) 8) 8)

What a wee smasher!

I was going to say initially that she is sticking out her tongue at Maggi and those who don't love snowdrops but didn't wish to be rude. However, that really is the case.

All the same, that twinkle in her eye tells me that she will be able to twist me around her little finger - and that's fine. I'll enjoy it all. Even will enjoy watching her do the same with her father.

What a joy Olivia is and will be. Lucky Tobins!

Looking at that face again... I think maybe she is commenting to us doubters! after all! ;D ;D
