We spend bit chillier winter days since new years day in Japan. Crocus korolkowii 'Yellow Tiger' is my first winter crocus this season.

That is very nice to see the crocus season is on now :) :) :)

Gerhard is it posible to see your C. biflorus punctatus from top and do you know the location that where is it from? I have doubt it might be C. biflorus leucostylosus! The style seems like leuco on my screen!

Nice Crocus fireworks Michael !!  ;D
All brilliant, but that C. chrysanthus from sumbegli looks really quite special though !  Very yellow !  ;D

Nice Spring you're having Gerhard !!

I had C. fleischeri from the Gulek Pass in Turkey flowering today.
First picture was taken around 11 o'clock - the rest merely an hour later !

You got a new camera by any chance Luc, those are cracking images.

Thanks for the compliments David !
The camera is the same, but since I have more time on my hands now (working for the same boss as you now...  ;D), I can take the time to adjust the camera manually instead of putting it on automatic and the use of a tripod helps too...  ;) + good sunlight yesterday !!  8)

Luc I hope retirement goes well I can recommend it.

After the last few days of warmth with a temp of 10-13c the crocuses have shot up and I thought it was going to be a disaster with them elongating and falling over without opening. However a cold day and an hours sunshine  has opened a few.

First two are different collections of Crocus chrysanthus then
Crocus biflorus x chrysanthus hybrid
Bulbs from seed from one of the natural hybrids, not particularly exciting
Crocus bilforus ssp from near Adana
Crocus biflorus issauricus
Crocus biflorus crewii
Chorley, Lancashire zone 8b

Thank you Tony !  I do seem to get used to the situation quite easily...  ;D ;D and watching some gorgeous Crocus and this forum as a whole actually, is a great help  :D

By the way, these hybrids look great and your C. biflorus crewii blew me off my socks...  ;D :o :o :o

Very nice indeed Luc, Gerhard and Michael, spring has certainly sprung
Agree with all the comments about beautiful crocuses.
Saw my first roadside verge crocus today  :( :( :( Spring should NOT have sprung yet ... I want the cold weather back!!!
