 Michael very nice crocuses,
I think that one with black anther from Gülek pass is not C.reticulatus!
Maybe C. biflorus pseudonubigena with honey scent!

Thanks Ibrahim,I guess you are correct, but that is what was on the label as I got it and I take all these things at face value as I don't have the desired knowledge on Crocus. I have emailed Janis for correction.

Cheers.

Superb Pictures everyone! Hard to decide which is the most beautyful - C. hartmanianus is  a real gem. Glad to receive Janis Crocusbook soon. :)

From today - C. adanensis about to open (I think they look better at this stage than when actually open quite often - particularly in my greenhouse where they have usually etiolated by that time!) and a C. baytopiorum.

Luc,
I know. ; BTW...I think you have by now still cv C. sieberi (ssp. atticus) 'Michael Hoog's Memory' ;)
Crocus atticus 'Michael Hoog's Memory' is excellent clone, which I got from late Michael Hoog few years before his death under name Crocus robertianus. It turned one of the most beautiful forms of C. atticus and one of most hardy and excellent increaser. So I decided to name it in honor of my great friend.

Sadly I'm not able to keep Crocus cvijicii alive. It is OK the spring after I buy them but they then die  :'(

Luc what have I missed? You have a new camera?
Most likely too dry in summer (or too hot - bring outside!!!!)

C. adanensis nicely clumped up compared to the picture of last year 8)
Well done. :D

Crocus vittelinus white

Gerhard,
you have an exquisite croci collection 8)

Your white C. vitellinus is something special - I have not seen. :o
The flower resembles its autuum flowering relative C. hyemalis.

I like the C. aerius - do you have a picture from the flower inside too?
Best wishes
Armin

 The C. vitellinus white;
I would prefer to call it C. candidus! Maybe it is better to check the corm first.
