Goat has the same number of bones as sheep, except in Jamaican cuisine. I've eaten goat in Jamaica, Crete and Mexico.

Have just had an email from a friend.  He went to a small garden this week that was open for the Red Cross charity.  It was advertised in a local shop window as 'come and see the snowdrops in Judy's garden' (before you ask, it was not Janet of Judys Snowdrops!).

It sounds like it was a very small affair with lots of tea & homemade cake and discussion of snowdrop flowers.  The flowers had been picked and were in vases in the house (Judy was in her mid seventies and it was a cold day - she was very knowledgeable on the subject).  This 'vase' set up made it very easy for all visitors to get involved in the discussions and enjoy the scent without having to get sore knees and backs.

There were also galanthus bulbs for sale - 3 in a bag - £1.50 per bag!  My friend came away with 'Lady Elphinstone', 'Tiny' and 'Comet' - a bargain at 50 pence each bulb!
