I think it was the late Mrs Evalyn Walsh McLean, once owner of the famous Star of the East and also the Hope  Diamond,who said.... "my family always know when I am really ill and they need to call a doctor, because I am wearing no jewellery."   
This lady also once owned the 31.5ct diamond ring that Edward bought for Mrs Simpson.
I'm with Evalyn! I love a bit of sparkle and have a real magpie streak when it comes to jewellery.

Now Maggi a bit of sparkle! a 31.5ct diamond you would need to put on sunglasses to protect you from the glare,  amazing
