Hello everyone, my first post for the new year, we made a start to bring the bulbs in flower for the flower show in Breezand at the second of March.
The photo inside shows the varieties who need a long heath period like;
Muscari Peppermint,Scilla litardieri,Narcis watieri, N Diamond Ring,Ipheion Jessie,I Charlorre Bishop, I Alberto Castillo,Fritillaria biflora. temp 18 C
The second photo taken outside shows the varieties who waiting for the ride date the bring them inside about 60 varieties.
When you like , I can inform you the whole period through.

Yesterday we brought in all the Fritillaria's about 24 varities and the Tecophilae 3 varities a unknown Galanthus and Crocus minimus Bavella.

My goodness, so, on the 26th January you brought in the Fritillarias to be ready for the 2nd of March (or maybe  second week in March.... I wasn't clear?)  that is hardly five weeks, such a short time.... I'd have thought it took longer.
I was surprised enough when you began the thread that the plants would be ready so fast!

 I do hope you will keep showing us the  pictures as they progress.

Today we ad to the greenhouse from out the cooling ,the Iris reticulata like Katharine Hodgkin,Sheila Ann Germaney,Lady Beatrix Stanley,Halkis,histrio and Palm Spring and olso Colchicum triphylum,Crocus Januari Gold and Ranuncul kochii.

The first Fritillaria's are in flower like;

did you "cool-down" the bulbs in this part of the glasshouse(drop down the temperature) ? Or is this the normal way to rise the temperature and hold this temperature?

Lucky to have such cute lads..... which reminds me.... I was going to ask, Wim.... are they twins?
