In the last few days my 'Chinese banquet prawn omelettes', 'full English breakfast (with 3 fried eggs for me)', and 'coffee/chocolate cakes' were partly due to those beautiful fancy footed birds.

John I love reading your Blog, even when there are rather many pictures of only white flowers  ;D ;D
But that will be evident with a Galanthus Blog.
But now seriously, I like it and look forward to the coming pages :D 8)

P.S.

I've received a text message this afternoon from people attending the Gala to say my jacket is no longer A.W.O.L. and is going to be reunited with me on Wednesday.   ;D

Perfect end to a perfect few days.

Wow, what a wonderful account of your trip.  Fantastic photos and I love the fact you included the pets - it helps set the mood of Jo's place.  What an absolutely beautiful garden she has.  I love the pollarded Willows with snowdrops, the woodland walk with the beautiful Cyclamen....and those green tipped snowdrops are gorgeous, especially the last one.  So much to see - thanks for sharing it with us.

I want to go through the photos again but am off to bake a chocolate cake after seeing Jo's on the table :)  I am thoroughly enjoying your blog John - cannot wait for more.  What camera do you use - it takes lovely photos?

So glad to hear your jacket has been found - what a perfect ending.  Steve - hope you get your camera back - I am sure it is safe.

John,

A lovely set of shots of Jo's garden and it is a delight to see it. Certainly, Jo has created a wonderful garden, a great selection of plants in a fabulous setting and all set off by delicious cakes. Perfect!

Steve, if you have any more difficulty contacting the Garden House next week please let me know and I will pop over there. If you do contact them and they have any problem with returning your camera to you then I would be happy to collect it and mail it on to you.
