The Springboks beat the All Blacks last night. That WASN'T supposed to happen with the Rigby World Cup just a couple of weeks away! So I'm not talking to South Africans today. :D

Chums, my sincere apologies, those of you with Birthdays this week have not been sent your Forum Greetings .....  this lack must have weighed heavily on you, thinking that we didn't care for you any more.... nothing could be further from the truth....and to make up for the undelivered cards floating in the ether I now offer belated, but none the less sincere good wishes to you for many happy returns of your Birthdays and fine robust health for you all.....  :-*

Dear me, my virtual carrier pigeon is having lots of problems..... now Bob (Bendgardener), Heinz Tessner, Aldo (airplant), Hans Pakker  and David Shaw have not received their cards..... I am distressed and will eat some chocolate on your behalf to celebrate your birthdays belatedly. ;D

It's a Banksia spinulosa, Peter, or at least, that's what I was told when I  got the photo.
 I thought it was doing a good impression of a cake with candles  ;)
