« on: February 12, 2011, 05:21:38 PM »
I've just got back from the South Wales show.

Ian Robertson won the Farrer memorial medal with a cyclamen.

Robin White yellow Daphne jezoensis

Aberconwy

Westonbirt - they had some really lovely iris in flower on the nursery stand.

Choice Landscapes, Priory Farm nursery.

Some general views of the benches, much the same as last year, the plants had plenty of room!

Rob, hope the weather was kind for your travels?
What a super cyclamen..... a worthy Farrer for Ian Robertson, it looks perfect.

It still feels quite a long way from "Spring" here so to see the hall with colour and folks enjoying their show day is a treat... thank you so much for sharing these photos.

That looks like a great photographic section.

The weather was great, some sunshine for a change.

I arrived about lunch time and the halls were buzzing with a good crowd, but after an hour it became quieter and I was able to take my time getting photos.

Here are a selection of snowdrops.

It's so nice to see such a good display for this time of year. The one that caught my eye was Androcymbium ciliolatum. That's for posting these delightful pictures.
