Introduction
« on: February 19, 2011, 02:28:00 PM »
Hello All,

Please allow me to introduce my self, i am a retired dutchman living in Cornwall.
After many years of growing mainly cycads from seed, i feel like doing something totally different along with these plants.
After a visit to the wonderful pleione site of Paul Cumbleton, my mind was made up, Pleiones it was going to be.
I have in the meantime bought some bulbs and bulbils (several from members) and studied hundreds of postings on this great forum and am ready to start and hopefully, with the help of the members on this forum, make a succes of it.

WElcome Jan, great to have you join us - I expect you will really enjoy growing the Pleiones... such beautiful plants and , for many of them, not too difficult  and so very rewarding. And such colours and markings!

Jan,

Glad you're enjoying it!!  8)  There's a couple more sending up buds now, but the majority flower much more towards our spring (it is currently late summer at present).
Cheers.
