Okay 'drop fiends... here's a question for you...... which snowdrop is shortish, good chunky flower, two on a stem, plicate leaves, and with markings a bit like 'Grumpy' or 'Hans guck in die luft'?
Percy Picton?Maidwell C?
The ovary is around 10mm long, straight sided and pale green. The outers are 3cms long, quite full with a short claw which is around 4 to 5 mmm at mostThe inner marks are distinct from eachother, no bleeding with the "eye" marks being rather long and narrow ( imaging the ovary shape rather) and the "moustache" mark is a strong green, rounded and well drawn at the lower edge and sharply angular to a triangle top.
For Myself I would just name it Margaret Young that's what everyone else does
Never heard of or seen Isobel Blakeway-Philips or Ispahan.
