I think that there were a few ,and only a few different pictures, but I suppose it would be a rather thick book if they put all in it

where is the problem, Mark? We all are waiting for new cultivars and new pics. Because the older are in the bible, we have of course.

I see no need unless there is new information that surfaces on the ones in Volume 1.  Hagen I wonder if they will give an estimate in €-$-₤ if one were to buy all the new ones.   :o

No problem at all but it would save me having to buy a new copy of the original. My copy is very dirty

Rats -  >:( - that means I'll have to buy a new copy of the Old Testament as mine has the dreadful index, and I have to look everything up in a printout of a proper index that a kind forumist sent me.

Just an outbreak of religious fervour Göte ;)

I find the species descriptions in CITES Bulbs very useful.  Are they based on the 1999 Davis book (or vice versa) does anyone know?

Perhaps they will put a complete index in the new one if we all ask for it!

Other issues notwithstanding, a complete index covering both volumes is an extremely good idea.  I hope the authors follow your suggestion (if they weren't already intending to do this).
