Finally the RBGE's  display maintained its customary high standard. Other displays included  a most interesting exhibit  from  the local  AGS group about   wild  flowers in north east England

I second that, Graham.... Stan has given us a terrific report of the show in fine pictures. All of which takes time and effort... to take the pix, to sort and resize them and to get them posted.... a fine effort , very much appreciated.

These show pictures are such a boon to those who  cannot attend the shows, as well as giving a marvelous refernece.  Thanks to all who post from the shows!

Got a note from Trevor and Angie Jones... who have also been the lucky recipients of the now famous Blue Eggs from the Hexham Show raffle....   they tell me that these eggs are from Buff Leg Bar hens and that these do have south American genes.
Astonishing how one's knowledge is expanded on in all directions in this place!

Not able to leave France this March to see the Hexham Show so it has been very satisfying to see the photographs that have been posted so far.  My grateful thanks to all who have posted their pictures.  I really must try to get to Hexham next year if only to avoid another attack of homesickness.
