I have a Paris from China with a big rhizome and the height is about 1 meter.
Any idea?

looks very similar to my plant which i think is vietnamensis?i got it as chen yi sp 305.if you look back on plant idents here i posted some pics a few weeks back.

So the conclusion can be Paris vietnamensis.

I would be quite happy to be able to say I had A Paris. At least one alive; here they behave as if they have made a hemisphaere change.

Ha! A 38 day election campaign vs. the 2 year haul that has already started in the US? Canada is a very interesting place.

Back to Paris (the plant, not the place), I see that our good friend has another beauty...and blooming at only 10cm! I'll have to take a closer look....
