I bought a pair of cords in that style on Sunday. They say fashions have 10 year cycles.
Suppose I better scan one of me

As Show secretary of the Dunblane Early Bulb Display may I ask that those who intend to arrive in dated costumes turn up during the hours of darkness and sit in the balcony during the talks. I don't want to be charged extra for the hall!
Janis has a tendency to show pics of himself 20 years ago and you may distract him from his real purpose.
Perhaps sanity will return to postings under this thread if the 'this is me in the past' could be moved to special thread of their own.

Perhaps, as Groucho Marx once said, we should have "a sanity clause" in the SRGC Forum constitution?

Why, Anthony?
We don't have anything ike a sanity clause in the main SRGC constitutution and I am sure that you don't want Ian of the Christie kind to insert one!

And remember, Anthony, Chico's retort is that "everyone knows there's no Santy Claus"!
Hope he brought you something nice for X'mas anyway!
cheers

Fermi, I do hope that there is soon an end to the drought and fire damage you folks are suffering.

Thanks, Maggi.
Another late night?
I'm not supposed to be at work but I had drop in to check my e-mails! Glad I did as I found a message from Marcus Harvey (often referred to by the Cake faker/maker) in Tasmania with an Adobe copy of his latest catalogue which I posted off to others straightaway....after making my selections!
cheers and Happy New Year, if I don't "drop-in" again before returning to work on January 2nd.

Quote from Sue G. in December: "Hi Maggie
The NE England contingent are planning to come in a modest charabanc as well - as the summer visits organiser I seem to have become responsible for this. All I can say is summer comes early in Dunblane!
We'll see you all there
Sue"
Sadly, my spy in NEE tells me that the cost of hiring said charabanc proved offputting so the Newcastle Gang won't be coming en masse to Dunblane. This is terribly sad news, but, there may still be time for Sue to book a bus if enough of you folks from the Newcastle area get in touch and say your willing to join in the day trip. Bus hire is £450 so we need 30 of you willing to pay £15 for transport for a great trip.
seems reasonable to me, if 45 of you come you'll get the bus fare for £10 What's keeping you? Let's be hearing from you then!!

Sorry, Anthony, I missed your "reply" in December! Yes, I'm always ready to take the bait to throw in a comic comment; just don't get me started on Monty Python!
cheers

There are direct trains from Edinburgh and Glasgow that stop right opposite the Victoria Halls in Dunblane.
