I've said it before and I'll say it again - I have to see the mountains before I get too old and my knees work

Gosh Cliff
What aw-inspiring pics.
Certainly lifted me out of the doom and gloom of starting back to full work today---in fact so motivating i've decided to head away into the hills again tomorrow.
Cheers dave

Does the good sun and clear air help make such excellent photos? Remind us what camera you use please

Thanks Luc and Mark,
Glad you are enjoying them....many more to come...if the SRGC memory bank can take the strain....
Mark....all the images from the Dolomites were taken with a swivel lens 3.4 megapixel Nikon Coolpix 995 (an 'old' camera in comparison to today's all-singing, all-dancing models)....I have added a Nikon D80 to my camera bag now but will continue to use the 995 at Shows and for 'on the ground' close-ups. Obviously the clear air and the sun will assist any photographer but it doesn't ALWAYS shine in the mountains and many of these shots were taken on overcast days.
