Many thanks Luit....don't let the images drive you to drink....have a few glasses
before
you go on the computer!
Hope you didn't miss the Seventh Gallery that was posted on the same topic page prior to the other eighty images?
Greetings and best wishes from a cold and very damp East Lancashire.
More galleries to follow......I am currently working on Gallery Fourteen....after a few drinks!

Yes Cliff, I did miss that page, but enjoyed it very much today, after a good sleep!
Now one thing puzzles me a bit. How did you make the picture of the Nigritella.
As you and I know this is only 10 cm. high and mostly on grassy slopes.
Or did you hire a “Murmeltier” ( Marmota marmota) to do the job?
But they don’t have holes on these grassy slopes….
Greetings

Wonderful images Kathrine,
You must have spent as much of your holiday on your hands and knees as I did on mine!!
If our combined images don't convince members of this wonderful forum to visit these enchanting mountains then we will have to keep the glorious Dolomites all to ourselves?
Anyone ready for Gallery Ten yet?

Cliff, I did'nt take your advice and had a few drinks before I looked at all your wonderful pictures this afternoon. Maybe I should have, because after seeing nr. 31 of Gall. 10 I started to doubt if you really made this in the Dolomites.
I put a pict. of a Geranium from myself herebye and I know where I made this one.
Nevertheless your pictures (and not to forget those of Kathrin!) take me and I hope many others through these dark winter days.
Thank you again!

Hi Luit.....many congratulations, you are absolutely right....this particular image was on the start of one of my memory cards and became interspersed with my thousands of Dolomite images by accident. Because it superficially looked like Geranium argenteum (after more than a few of those drinks I freely admit), I must have been blinded to the error. If Maggi or Ian would be so kind, then perhaps it could be whisked away to whence it belongs .... in the recycle bin.
It's gone! Maggi
Well spotted sir!

.....And I will now have to check the next few Galleries for further errors.....there is a lot more to this posting than seems apparent at the outset.
