ONLINE PUDSEY SHOW ON AGS WEBSITE 18th JUNE 2011
« on: May 30, 2011, 05:02:41 PM »
Since all us showers are really going to miss our missing Pudsey Show this year I thought we could do another 'Show that never was' online Show.

The date I've set is Saturday 18th June and all you have to do is post your pictures to the AGS website.  Pictures must be taken on the day, no Tuesday plants allowed, you're on your honour remember ::)

The more pictures we get the more people will realise that we really don't want any holes in our showing calendar.  Whether you would have got to Pudsey or not if you've got some terrific plants on the day please post them.

Thanks in anticipation.
Shelagh, Bury, Lancs.

Super idea Shelagh ... and we could all enjoy a virtual meal at the pub at 12.30pm ... Martin's round!!!   :D
Diane can provide the coffees and bacon butties for the exhibitors and Brian can dress in an appropriate jacket and tie (as if he wouldn't anyway)?
George can be the official show photographer (lot's of screen captures George) and I can promise to turn up with lots of entries and arrive with one little buttercup ... as usual.  :D

Would a Friday plant be allowed?  ::) I'm setting off early on the Saturday to join the SRGC trip to the Dolomites, and I don't fancy trying to take photos and resize them before I go to catch my train.

Am I right in thinking it's pictures of plants in pots? Not in the garden?

By the 18th June Aberdeen could be a desert but we'll look forward to seeing all your efforts.

See you on the AGS website, 18th June, Folks!

Not sure how to put a picture on the AGS site. Not sure I can remember how to get on to the site. Fairly sure that If I do get on I cannot navigate as the Banner covers all the options.

I have noticed that problem with the menus dropping down, unasked, to cover options on the AGS site. Stops me reading John Richards diary quite often.
Happens randomly, it seems. It is irritating.

Are overseas entries acceptable? Mind you, it could just be the flowering stems on the red chard. :D But I'm sure Bill in Tauragna could come up with something and I have a few Narcissus. Mid winter coming to Pudsey. ;D

If they aren't acceptable then I will resign from the society and take up cockroach racing!!!   ;D
Hope you can get a flower or two on Ranunculus semiverticillatus by the 18th????   :D :D :D ::)

Ofcourse Lesley, I did say if you would have made it or not to encourage a worldwide exhibitor list ;D
