I've never had Hymenocallis harrisiana from wild collected material, so I'm skeptical about that is in the trade as harrisiana. I'm not surprised that some look different. The bulbs I have are reluctant to flower, but they do offset abundantly. On the other hand, Thad Howard (in his book, "Bulbs for Warm Climates") describes a second form, sometimes called harrisiana, that has bright green leaves and is probably a new species; so don't throw any of them away.
