Can anybody on here  point me in the direction of a good quality plastic square pot supplier?

I had difficulty finding a source of deep square pots.
I ended up getting a supply of 9x9x13cm pots from www.kakteen-schwarz.de

They charge an awful lot for postage e.g. 20 - 30 euros, so better buy in bulk!
And unless you've got a euro account, a UK bank transfer can be costly.

7x7x8 would  be great maren also 9x9 as well.

A bit bigger than you wanted Davey, but I've used the 10x10x17cm pots from these folks for a few years now. I find them great for mature bulbs which need good root space - e.g Gladiolus, Biarum etc. Also they do not taper much between top and bottom and fit together nicely on the bench.

Hi,
can only advise on 7x7x8cm. They always come either a couple of millimeters bigger (then they don't fit into my trays) or smaller (then the plants are deprived of root space). If you are not constrained by tray sizes, you have many more options.

After many trials and failures, I have finally settled on a quality pot that meets my exacting   standards, firm not flimsy and the right size. The make is Pöppelman (surprise, surprise) and it is marketed in this country by:

Their website is rubbish at the moment, but they are good on the phone and quick by email. The category for the pots is: Outdoor Square Containers - Black. My last order was for 2,088 – 7x7x8 Square Semi Rigid Pots, Black (code no. HCP875) for £94.68 incl. delivery, well worth it.

I have found FARGRO, Littlehampton, to be very good for the larger pots - 1.4 litre.  They do a complete range.

I generally compare the total costs - including carriage - before making a choice.
