Mark,
Yes, indeed, those in the Cork group are certainly looking forward to a treat when Rod and Rachel Saunders visit next month.
A note on the Cork group: this is a very small group. It arranges winter talks and possibly one garden visit each year, no shows, no competitions. However, the winter programme is always excellent with a range of outstanding speakers each year. The committee is simply outstanding; Hestor Forde being particularly energetic and enthusiastic.
Hopefully, she will chase up the Bulbman for a coming season.

Excellent lecture in Cork last night, with superb photographs of (mainly) Cape bulbs
in situ
. Recommended. It was also a reminder of how in Europe at least we tend to overlook so many outstanding South African species, even genera.
Re
Gethyllis
&
Syringodea
(recently discussed elsewhere on the Forum), e-mail Silverhill Seeds to be put on their waiting list because supplies are intermittent or short-lived. Evidently a problem with collecting seed of the latter is that capsules remain below ground rather than emerging when ripe, as many
Crocus
do, so are hard to find.

You'll have the slide list tomorrow, but my wish-list would be too long to send
