Thanks David. Grey did such great work with dwarf Narcissus but is rarely mentioned by name nowadays.

Hi Lesley,
As Anne has said, Alec Gray raised it - he found a seed pod on 'Cyclataz' which had never before (or since?) set viable seed. The three seedlings were named"Jumblie". "Tete A Tete" and "Quince" - Will pretends to fall asleep (or throw up) whenever I tell this story as he's heard it a thousand times before!
Here's what I think is "Quince" in our garden,

That's a nice one Fermi. I'd have to check when the snow melts but I don't think 'Jumblie' has as many flowers per stem as yours. We all know 'Tete-a Tete' well, I'm sure.

Our season is well and truly under way here in Canberra. I have a new Camera and it is taking longer to get used to it than I had hoped. My day job has also been keeping me busy so daffodil things are all a bit behind. However, as Helen did a big weeding job the daffodils are looking better than ever and some really good seedling have flowered for the first time.

I'm wondering if Marcus sent you (the more expensive) "Kojak" instead of "Mitimoto" as ours has now flowered and looks a lot like yours

Other GBF hybrids include: "Jingle X Swagger"

and "Slip'ry"

our own mystery is a pair of daffs we got as N. hispanicus but there are 2 types of flowers!

Maybe Rafa or some other Daff specialist could say whether they are 2 forms of the species or if one is an imposter!

I have collected all the pollen from my cyclamineus and mitzy. I now have josie flowering so will take a pic and collect the pollen from this also.
I am thinking of pollinating a josie flower with mitzy pollen to see what happens in 3-5 years :)
