Graham,

That’s an impressive collection of miniature daffies you breed and grow, you certainly know how to grow these little treasures.
Like you I am firmly hooked on these miniatures, especially the cyclamineus section and the species, although your collection is much bigger than mine but then again, beside the daffies, I also grow and manage a large selection of rare and unsual bulbs.
Anyway it’s good to see that the Southern Hemisphere is well represented on the internet and we all enjoying your very beautiful and interesting pictures, and looking forward to more treasures to come.
There are few plants more fascinating than breeding miniature daffies, it makes a delightful and most interesting hobby.
How long have you been breeding the miniatures, do you have any favourites?
From another bulbophile and addict mini daffies nut, who is also suffering from yellow fever.

Here is another collection of the mainly yellow miniature cyclamineus seedlings.

This sample/collection is mainly of the white and bi-colour cyclamineus seedlings.
Enjoy.

Graham, I am so flattered that someone thinks my needs must be met. Most people wouldn't give a damn about that.

Agreed on the first part, disagreed on the second. Our Lesley is particularly fair of face.

Thank you David. I was about to remark that there's not a wart in sight - or out of sight either. :o

Bill, will you be coming down to the Trillium weekend in Timaru?

Bill
I am looking forward to the day you put those bi coloureds on a catologue, will be a good 4-5 years before I will see any of mine.
You can always add a special price list to me with this years usual one  :P

Lesley, I would love to come to the Trillium weekend and reacquaint with old friends again in the deep south, unfortunately apart from the expense, we will be very busy in the nursery with customers needing attention.
Perhaps the National Daffodil Conference in Dunedin next year?
Nothing like South Island hospitality and freshly baked scones, with butter and homemade jam.  ;D ;D
Remember these pictures from the first Trillium meeting in 2002?

PS: Maggi, I made the pics a little higher in resolution for more detail, just for once, is that OK? Thanks

I do too Maggi, and dodgy-looking describes them well. I was in there somewhere myself but mercifully, can't see me. A few are no longer with us, at least one has gone to live in Australia and anyone there who has dark or blonde hair is now grey while many of the men are totally or partially bald. Oh the passing of the years..... ::)
