Hello Mark, nice pics - as always
Hello Thomas, good landscape for long walks
Hello folks, can you tell me the differences between AUTUMN QUEEN and C speciosum ssp bornmuellerii please. My types look like the pictures show (yesterday). But in the book of Rod Leeds Csb is checkered and has brownish/purple anthers (and never yellowish)

What do the leaves of your 'Automne Queen' look like Hagen? and do you know it's parentage?
as to C ssp bournmulleri - either the book is wrong or you have the wrong plant.

Most of these flowers are not standing this evening. Very heavy rain flattened them this afternoon. Why would they flower so early?

Hagen' s Colchicum 'Teufelskralle' flowers also so early.
Colchicum tenorii flowers also one month in former times, but it is the true plant.

Very very early Franz. Here TEUFELSKRALLE isn`t out of the ground. I like to see it increases well.

Mark, why your tessellated flowers can`t be AUTUMN QUEEN. I cannot find differences. May be it is the time of flowering?
