Christine Boulby, known in the Forum as "ChrisB" has come forward to volunteer for the post as SRGC Subscription Secretary.
Graham Bunkall, who has done such marvelous work for the Club in the last five years, is continuing meantime to assist Christine with 'learning the ropes' of this large and important task.
Every single member of the Club needs the services of, and I trust, appreciates, the volume of work undertaken by a Subscription/Membership Secretary. This is the base on which the Club revolves and thrives.
The recent AGM was pleased to thank Graham for his tremendous service to the Club and he was awarded the honour of the title of Honorary Vice President and presented with a quaich in apprciation.
The Web Team was delighted to give our own private presentation to Graham (of a Lawrence Greenwood print of Paraquilegia anemenoides) in recognition of the respect we have for his tireless work over the years. He has been a pleasure to work with. It is typical of Graham that he is helping Christine to settle into the role.
Christine is a very capable person, who has a great fondness for the Club and will be a very worthy successor to Graham. As time goes on you will all come to know her, and be grateful for her work on our behalf.
