Wurmbea sp LEG 203
« on: September 05, 2011, 10:54:15 AM »
I got this from the 2010 SRGC seed exhange. I had assumed it was an Eastern Cape /Drakensberg species and would germinate in spring so I left the pot outside in the rain all spring & summer. I just noticed it germinated abundantly in August instead, which strongly suggests a winter-growing Western Cape species. This leaves me a bit puzzled regarding its treatment this coming winter so I'd be grateful if anyone can give me information on this collection.
