Hagen I wondered if you knew of a virescent Galanthus gracilis as you have so many different snowdrops to the ones we grow, as it is mentioned in this new book we wondered if it was commonly available in Europe. My original comment was really that I found some of this choice of plants to be a puzzle. As an example, quite a few people seem to find 'Sophie North' difficult to keep - not my idea of garden worthy!
It`s a book of Josh Westrich (photograph), with a little help from......Joe Cocker Clemens Heidger and his collection.
My dear Brian, hello Davey,I never saw a Gg virescens, I only saw a pic of Gg virescens. What is the problem? Gg do not like to split. Mostly there are only single plants. If you would like to increase a clump, Gg isn`t a good species. Why do you would like a Gg virescens?
Davey,I like Gg so much and I like virescens too. And I would like Gg virescens. But it is always a collectors plant. Not common and not normal garden worthy.
