Please ID my Griffinia sp.???
« on: October 15, 2011, 01:57:00 PM »
Dear every one, please help me to identify my Griffinia.
I bought from UK seller. He told me name is Griffinia espiritensis.
But her flowers are bigger than my G. espiritensis.
Now I didn't know her name.
Thank you.

Didn't had spot at leave.

Compare with my G. espiritensis

What a beautiful plant this is, quite unknown or heard of, to me.

Looks like Griffinia espiritensis Ravenna.

You could email Alan Meerow and ask him - alan.meerow@ars.usda.gov

Alan W. Meerow is an American botanist, born in New York in 1952. He specializes in the taxonomy of the family Amaryllidaceae and the horticulture of palms and tropical ornamental plants.
