unknown pea
« on: October 29, 2011, 08:25:53 AM »
This pea has been with me for many years and i used to know it's name .........  ::) ::)

It's in a pot for the moment as i lifted it from the garden last season as it was being swamped by a Rhodo.
Any ideas?.

Ta.

I haven't the foggiest Dave but I hope you'll collect seeds and maybe do a few cuttings. It's very nice. Pea cuttings do easily enough from non-flowering shoots.

I also have Lathyrus vernus in the garden so i broke off a stem to compare them both. There's quite a difference as you can see below  :-\ so I had a look on Google and here's is a link ---
http://irapl.altervista.org/nit/viewpics.php?title=Lathyrus+vernus+subsp.+flaccidus --- that shows narrow foliage like my unknown plant.

So you could be right Arisaema.

Thank you. :)
