Advertising Manager Vacancy

Due to the current advertising manager taking on new duties within the club, there is an urgent vacancy for a new advertising manager for 'The Rock Garden' .  
Responsibilities include co-ordinating advertisements, sending them to the editor, and invoicing for them twice per year.  It is not a difficult job.  All that is required is basic computer knowledge and organisational ability.  It will only take up a small amount of your time and will help the Club enormously.  Please help your club continue to prosper by joining the team that make it the success it has become.  
Christine is happy to coach the new advertising manager in their role.

I am pleased to be able to tell you, on behalf on the President,  that a Forum Member has come forward and has volunteered to take on the post of SRGC Advertising Secretary.

David Nicholson has 'stepped up to the plate' as the saying goes and is liasing with Christine to take over the post.

I can't help feeling that in the SRGC, "stepping up to the plate" has more connotations relating to cake and buns rather than the American baseball reference that I believe may be the origin of the saying... but heigh ho, good workers need  good food!
