... a final pic of 'Sheds and Outhouses' (I must admit to being surprised, when I posted a picture previously, that not one person commented on how this was a great addition to the early flowers. It is the only one I have seen at this time of year with green on the outers - and probably my favourite of this season so far)....
I checked the snowdrops today and saw Sentinel, Mrs Mc,gracilis Highdown and Diggory are doing well. Also the undefinable snowdrop i found last year is showing a nose.

Speaking personally, I got so preoccupied with the weird name that I didn't pay the flower close attention. Do you know how it came to be so-named, John?

I send out a request.... if anyone reading this has something other than R.O. that flower at this time of year in your garden then PLEASE do consider sending me a personal message to let me know (and maybe we can do a swap). I really don't care if it has a 'name'! Any snowdrop that can flower in November/December really is helping to alleviate the early onset of my horrible winter blues.
