I would like to work with the genus Petrocosmeas. Anyone know where to start with getting plants or seeds from?

that looks like some form of African Violet to me. Am I wrong?

No I dont, obviously some of the hardy european species are represented in danish collection among alpine plant entuitiasts. But when it comes to some of the more tender but still relatively hardy species I have no idea. My interest are among those species that can take at least down to the freezing point. This is new area to me.

Sorry we are a bit late in picking up on this thread but we grow the following which we hope to have available later in the year,
Petrocosmea grandiflora
                  minor
                  aff. iodiodes
                  sp. G25KC00 rosettifolia ?
                  martinii aff.
                  sericea
We have been growing these for a couple of years in shade, in a frost-free greenhouse which has been as low as 1 degree centigrade and up to now they appear quite happy.  :)
At the moment we have P. sp, G25KC00 rosettifolia ? in full flower, looking quite pleased with itself !

If anyone has any different to the above we would be happy to exchange.
