Biological control and Auxiliaries
« on: January 02, 2012, 10:57:00 AM »
The topic is fascinating.

However, I realized that, although biological methods for disease and pest control where mentioned here and there by a few of you, more discussions would be welcome.

I'm concerned with developping biocontrol strategies against corm rot diseases - caused by bacteria as well as fungi.
The use of Trichoderma has been mentioned as a solution.

Which other auxiliary agent could be used against (non exhaustive list):
  • Stromatinia
  • Rhizoctonia
  • Fusarium
  • Pythium
  • Penicillium
  • Botrytis
  • Uromyces
  • Burkholderia
etc.
