Went to Cyprus in order to see two species in bloom. [C. hartmannianus and Hyacinthella millingenii]I had to go twice to the site as first day was too dark.C. hartmannianus is extremely rare!!! in the wild, there are only few hundred plants growing on the site.[Please do not ask for the exact location, it is a secret i will take with me when i'll join the bulbs from the roots side..]

The Crocus biflorus from Iran had opened sufficiently to see the anthers - they are black
Fantastic pictures, Oron. And plants! I think I know where it is but I will not go to Cyprus as I don't like driving "on wrong side of road" Janis
Oron, nice dark Crocus hartmannianus. Like variable is this species in nature and have you seen also pure white flowers?
